Scholarship is administered by the Los Molinos High School Alumni Association
Applicant must be a worthy Los Molinos High School graduating senior with a passion for, and proficiency in the Industrial Arts(woodworking,metalworking,automechanics,construction and/or related trades). The applicant may also qualify if they are pursuing a technical educationcareer inaspecializedskilledtradewithinappliedsciencesormoderntechnology (nursing,animalmedicine,computersciences,etc..)Thescholarshipawardcouldbeusedby the applicant pursuing further educationor training in the Industrial Arts at acommunity college, college, or vocational, technical or trade training facility.
AWARD: $500.00 (one time, non-renewable)
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION: Required Materials (to be included with all applications)
1. Page #1 – Cover sheet that includes the name of the scholarship and your name
3. Page #3 - Student resume or profile
4. Page #4 - Personal statement of educational & career goals (300-500 words)
5. Page #5 - Attach an unofficial copy of your current 7 semester transcripts
6. Page #6 - Attach one letter of recommendation from a school personnel/staff member
7. Page #7 - Attach one letter of recommendation from someone not affiliated with the school (i.e. community member/leader, pastor, college prep advisor, Boy/Girl Scout Leader, etc…) (see LMHS Scholarship Book for examples and procedures for requesting letters)
8. Not following the above instructions may result in the disqualification of your application.

** Note: Students or parents may include a sealed explanation of any special problems or unusual circumstances which make it difficult to contribute towards this student's continuing education.
AWARD SELECTION: Award recipient will be notified to attend the Los Molinos High School Scholarship & Award Program on June 4, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
DUE DATE: Submit the completed application to the Los Molinos High School Counseling Office on or before April 15. Late applications cannot be accepted.
