Los Molinos High School

The intermediate and advanced plant science courses are an integral component of the Ornamental Horticulture pathway. The Plant and Soil Science pathway covers topics such as plant classification, physiology, reproduction, plant breeding, biotechnology, and pathology. In addition, students learn about soil management, water, pests, and equipment, as well as cultural and harvest practices (ANR). Students have the opportunity to manage all aspects of the greenhouse, plan sales, market products, provide customer service, and manage other business operations.
