Mia Peters Memorial Scholarship


 
The Mia Peters Memorial Scholarship Is to be awarded annually to a graduating Los Molinos high school senior.
 
The purpose of the scholarship is to offer financial assistance to deserving students who have demonstrated potential and effort in meeting educational goals. As well as being a participante in high school softball and Little League.
 
This scholarship is funded by the family and friends of Mia Peters by conducting fund raising events. Candidates are encouraged to participate in at least one of these events. Candidates who have participate in these events will have priority. Mia Peters lost her life on August 2, 2020 in a drowning accident. Mia lived her life fearlessly with drive passion and heart. Where Her light shined the brightest was behind the plate softball was her drive joy savior and family.
 
SOFTBALL IS LIFE
This scholarship is our way of honoring her memory, as well as encouraging others to be part of a great community. We are looking for applications that carry on Mia’s way of life.
 
Requirements
● Student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher.
● Must have participated in LMHS softball for no less than 2 seasons.
● Priority may be given to student that has participated in Little League and or student that has community service hours served at central Tehama little league . Application Process
● Complete the attached application. 
● Submit a letter telling us about yourself, your current personal educational goals
● Submit one letter of recommendation.
● Write a brief essay no more the 500 words no less than 350 words about what softball is to you.
● Submit a copy of your high school transcripts. Submit a colored photo of yourself (preferablya 4x6 or 5x7)
